Brockville Language School

Brockville Language School offers 6 levels of English courses in Brockville based on the Common European Framework (Beginner: A1 and A2, Intermediate: B1 and B2, Advanced: C1 and C2) to adults 18 and over as follows:

 

Immersion Courses

• Intensive General English and Business English 1-week, 2-week  and 3-week courses (15 hours per week)

  • Integrated skills with a communicative focus, featuring: speaking & listening, grammar, vocabulary & idioms, reading & writing, pronunciation

  • Canadian culture

 

Non-Intensive Courses

• IELTS Test Preparation

  • Focus on speaking and/or writing skills

  • Review, practice and get comfortable taking IELTS ESL tests.

• General English skills or Business English 5- week courses (3 hours per day,1 day per week=15 hours) 

  • Integrated skills with a communicative focus, featuring: speaking & listening, grammar, vocabulary & idioms, reading & writing, pronunciation.

  • Canadian culture

• Business Writing  4-week courses (3 hours, 1 day per week =12 hours)

  • Uses your writing projects or projects identified with your instructor.

  • Uses a process approach to writing

• Grammar Polish 4-week courses ( 2.5 hours, 1 day per week =total 10 hours)

  • Practice through oral activities and written exercises.

​

• Tutoring Services 5 weeks of classes  (1.5 hours per week)

  • Focus on specific skills you'd like to improve.

• A placement test

 

• A certificate upon completion of the course.
