Cancellation Policy

 

Cancellation Policy before the Start Date

 

• An official registration cancelled before the start of the course due to a visa refusal is refunded (except Registration Fee ), if Brockville Language School receives, in writing, a cancellation request accompanied by the letter received from  Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

• An official registration cancelled 14 days or more before the start of the course is refunded (except Registration Fee, if applicable) if Brockville Language School receives, in writing, a course cancellation request.

• An official registration cancelled between 7 and 13 days before the start of the course is refunded at 75% of the total course cost (except Registration Fee if applicable), if Brockville Language School receives, in writing, a course cancellation request.

• An official registration cancelled less than 7 days before the start of the course is refunded at 60% of the total course cost (except Registration Fee if applicable), if Brockville Language School receives, in writing, a course cancellation request.

• In the rare circumstances that Brockville Language School is forced to cancel an entire course before or after the start date, all fees paid for this course will be refunded.

 

 

Cancellation Policy after the Start Date

 

An official registration cancelled on arrival or after the start of the course is reimbursed based on the percentage of completion of the immersion program at the time of receipt, in writing, of the cancellation request. The percentages are as follows:

• If less than 10% of the course is completed, Brockville Language School refunds 50% of the number of weeks/hours remaining (except Registration Fee if applicable). There is no refund for one-week courses of 15 hours or less.

• If between 10% and 30% of the course has been completed, Brockville Language School refunds 30% of the number of weeks/hours remaining (except Registration Fee if applicable). There is no refund for one-week courses of 15 hours or less.

• If more than 30% of the course is completed, no refund is granted.

• If a student is dismissed from a course for not adhering to Brockville Language School's written Code of Conduct, or for violating any local, provincial or federal Canadian laws, no refund will be given.

• In the rare circumstances that Brockville Language School is forced to cancel an entire course before or after the start date, all fees paid for this course will be refunded.

 

Refund Due Dates

All refunds will be paid within 45 calendar days of the start date of the course for which the student registered.
