  • English immersion and non-intensive courses in Brockville are available for adults 18 and over.

  • We offer 6 levels from beginner through advanced based on the Common European Framework:

    • Beginner: A1, A2; Intermediate: B1, B2; Advanced: C1, C2.

  • We also offer customized business English to meet the needs of your employees,  IELTS test preparation, and tutoring services.

ENGLISH IMMERSION

General English and Business English

Course Description

  • 1 week, 2 weeks or 3 weeks

  • 3 hours per day / 15 hours per week

  • Throughout the year (see course calendar )

  • Classes are Monday to Friday

 

Sample Schedule

9:00 – 10:30:  integrated skills

10:30 – 10:45: break

10:45 – 12:00: integrated skills

 

Or

 

1:30 – 3:00: integrated skills

3:00 – 3:15: break

3:15 – 4:30: integrated skills

 

Note: Day 1 of course consists  of a language evaluation, orientation and integrated skills

 

Our  English immersion classes use a variety of creative learning activities to practice English, including: role plays and discussion, grammar introduced & practiced in the context of real-life situations; vocabulary building activities, including idioms; games; listening to videos on current topics, reading of articles, review of common North American pronunciation while practicing conversation, and practical writing tasks. Courses also emphasize life in Canada and Canadian culture.

General English and Business English Skills - Non-immersion
 
Course Description
  • 3 hours per day

  • 1 day per week for 5 weeks (total 15 hours)

  • Classes are Saturdays OR Sundays

Business Writing course description

We work on your specific writing projects or projects that you have identified with your instructor.  The focus is on writing clearly, concisely and accurately using a process approach to writing.

  • 4 weeks: 3 hours per day x 1 day per week = total 12 hours

  • Classes are Saturdays

  • Day 1 of course consists of writing needs analysis

 

Business English in the Workplace

  • Customized classes at your work place to meet the needs of your employees

  • January through April  / October through December

Grammar Polish course description

  • 4 weeks: 2.5 hours per day x 1 day per week = total 10 hours

  • Levels A1 – B2: practice through oral activities and written exercises

  • Levels  C1 and C2: programmed review and exercises

  • Classes are Saturdays
